There are pictures that fail. But I don’t take photos just to put them in a drawer. They should be seen. Whether you love them or not is completely irrelevant to me.

I do care whether people like my pictures or not. However, I am also far from being like Helmut Newton. It is important to me to create my photos in my own way and not to be influenced by the opinions of others. I believe that every person has a unique view of the world and that this view should also be expressed in the pictures. When I take photos, my aim is to develop my own creativity, not to fulfil other people’s expectations.
I think it’s important for every photographer to have a certain independence in their creative process to avoid creative blockages and to maintain the joy of photography. It is important for me to listen to my own intuition and to realize my ideas.
