My photographic journey:

I’ve just bought a Canon EOS 1100D – second-hand – and I’m taking it and the two kit lenses that came with it on my very first “trips” while travelling. Doing this in a community with other experienced photographers, like here at Blende8, is great fun because I can always ask someone for support, learn new things from our picture discussions, but also at our active photography meetings and put them into practice straight away.

I’m still at the very beginning of my journey, I haven’t seen much with my camera yet. I’m interested in photography because beautiful photos touch me, keep memories alive and I perceive the beautiful moments in life differently.

My photographic philosophy:

… I still have to develop it, but – I like nature and the small details, if you can make them clearly visible with photography. I am a beekeeper and I hope that one day I will be able to show off my bees – my girls – in my photos.

In any case, photography is a wonderful way to relax from everyday life and one of the reasons why I decided to take up this hobby.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever…it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
